Quick Getting Started Guide

Once installed the plugin, here's how to set up your hostel site really quick and easy:

1. Visit the Hostel PRO settings page to set up booking methods, booking form URL etc.
2. Create your rooms.
3. Don't forget to publish the booking form. You can use the simple shortcode or customize it.
4. If there are dates when your hostel does not work add them in the "Unavailable dates" page.
5. You are ready to get accept guests!

Synchronize with Booking Sites

HostelPRO Supports both inbound and outbound synchronization. Each room has individual iCal URL and a file. You can insert the URL in the online booking system and it will fetch the bookings from your database to show when the room is unavaialble.

Each room also supports multiple import iCal URLs so you can sync with any service that provides .ics URL. Here is short info for the most popular services:

Booking.com

Booking.com provides iCal URLs. Learn more in the Export Calendar section here.

AirBnB

AirBnB supports both import and export too. Learn more here.

Expedia

Expedia controls sites like Hotels.com and provides iCal URLs. Documentation is available only to hotel owners. If this is important for you please check for iCal URL prior to purchasing the plugin.

For other online booking sites, please check their documentation or ask their support. iCal / .ics is the industry standard of synchronizing hotel and BnB bookings. However we can not guarantee that every booking site will provide you with such and won't take liability if they don't. We advice you to check in advance.
